Rural Metro Fire Station
Residents of the unincorporated areas of eastern Maricopa County/Northern Pinal County have been using Rural/Metro Fire Department since 1959. We have served the town of Queen Creek since 1972
Rural/Metro operates on an individual basis with most residents of Maricopa County. This means fire protection and emergency medical services are not paid for through taxes and residents are responsible for establishing fire service directly with Rural/ Metro Fire.
In Queen Creek and the surrounding areas, Rural/Metro has three primary responding fire stations, including a new station set to open in 2007 in The Village of Copper Basin - Copper Mine Road and Main Street.
